- Middleham Jewel - Yorkshire Museum, York
- Shackleton's Tin of Rowntree's Cocoa - York Castle Museum
- and one other is in the 100 objects to be featured in the BBC radio broadcasts:
- Vale of York Viking Hoard - jointly owned by the British Museum and the Yorkshire Museum
The Yorkshire Museum has now re-opened following a major refurbishment and all of its treasures are back on display in York.
